ChampionsChampions exists to encourage children in preschool through sixth grade to learn to become wholehearted followers of Jesus Christ. Learning to become a follower of Jesus Christ involves the study of God’s word and telling others about Christ. This is accomplished through graded Bible and catechism** curriculums, involvement in church wide worship, and by providing a venue to invite friends to come to secular classes in a Christ centered atmosphere. Our goal is to teach what the Bible says and what it means to that the children can be God’s Champions in their homes, schools, and neighborhoods. **A catechism is a question and answer format of the Bible’s teachings, making it easy for children to remember and understand what the Bible has to say. Champion’s Bible Stories At 9:00AM on Sunday mornings, the children learn what the Bible says through Bible curriculum graded for different ages Champions Catechism One of the greatest gifts we can give our children is to train them to be heartfelt worshippers of God. Therefore, children ages 3 through first grade join their families for the first part of the Worship Service. Then they are dismissed prior to the message from God’s Word (as noted in the bulletin). The children enjoy a snack and teaching from catechism curriculum graded for different ages and based on the Westminster Shorter Catechism NurseryA nursery is available for ages newborn through two years.
